Record books are a written annual report of 4-H members project work. Each year, member builds their record book by recording speeches, demonstrations, citizenship, leadership, project finances, and exhibits done throughout the year.

Once a member turns 14, they can submit a state record book and win many college scholarships through state and nation-wide donors.

“Each member who submitted a book this year has achieved more than they thought they ever could. When they submit their book next year, the same will be true. What a great feeling for a young person. These are the opportunities that 4-H gives our youth.” Jessica Jantzen, 4-H Educator
