BIKE RODEO SATURDAY

A Bike Rodeo begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Pawhuska Elementary School playground.

Kindergarteners through 6th graders can have their bikes inspected and learn to steer through an obstacle course. (NOTE: Students will not be allowed to participate if their bike does not have brakes, officials said.) Participants will be eligible to win a trophy, a bike helmet or one of the new bikes that are to be given away.

Kiwanis and Key Club members will be on site to help teach bicycle safety. Coordinator of this year’s event is local Kiwanian Jenny Perrier. The free bike rodeo is an annual event that Kiwanis members have sponsored for over 20 years

Persons with questions about the bike rodeo may call 287-2195.
