The Friends of the Drummond Home held a yard sale, Friday, June 13 at 310 N. Regan to help raise funds for an upcoming event. Many thanks go to the Hominy Community Center, Mary Pogue, Evelyn Ingersol, Lacy Mahan, and Diane & Beulah Moutray for their donations of items for the sale. Also many thanks go to Kira Donnelly and Diane Moutray for their hard work and for hosting this event!

Tickets are on sale for the Drummond Home style show which will be held on Saturday, Aug. 16 starting at 2 p.m. and lasting until 4 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 205 N. Price, Hominy. This year, Martha Ray and her group of models from Pawnee will be showing styles worn by women from the “DOWNTON ABBEY” era! This will be a fun afternoon with door prizes and refreshments!

Tickets for this event are $10 each and can be purchased at the Drummond Home or by mail. Reservations are being taken for 50 guests and will be sold until the end of July. All proceeds will benefit the Drummond Home.

The Drummond Home is located at 305 North Price, Hominy.Hours of operation are: Wednesdays through Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. with tours being given between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. with the last tour starting at 4 p.m. For more information, please call 918-885-2374.
