May Food for Thought luncheon promises to be energizing

“How to Keep that SPRING in Your Step” will be the energizing topic of the May 22 Food for Thought.
Sponsored by the Pawhuska Chamber of Commerce, Pawhuska Business Development Center and Formby Oil & Propane, this lunch and learn session was designed to allow participants to experience meaningful networking, professional development and a meal.
Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. The program kicks off at Noon. Dynamic trainers Tonya Foreman and Tara Gotwalt will lead this fast-paced event and share tips for renewing one’s physical, social, emotional, mental and spiritual life. Such renewal increases the body’s capacity to produce and handle life’s challenges.
“Feeling good doesn’t just happen,” said Foreman. “Living a life in balance means taking the necessary time to renew yourself, possibly through relaxation. Or, you can totally burn yourself out by overdoing everything. You can pamper yourself mentally and spiritually. Or, you can go through life oblivious to your well-being.”
Gotwalt added, “You can experience vibrant energy. Or, you can procrastinate and miss out on the benefits of good health and exercise. You can revitalize yourself and face a new day in peace and harmony. Or, you can wake up in the morning full of apathy because your get-up-and-go has got-up-and-gone. Each new day provides an opportunity for renewal. All it takes is the desire, knowledge, and skill.”
PDBC Coordinator Cindy Helmer invites the public to register for this exciting seminar.
“Without renewal, the body becomes weak, the mind mechanical, emotions raw, the spirit insensitive, and the person selfish,” noted Helmer. “Not a pretty picture, is it? Don’t miss our May 22nd session!”
