The Bartlesville Fourth of July Freedom Fest committee and the Downtown Bartlesville Kiwanis Club are seeking both volunteers and vendors.

Freedom Fest is a family-friendly festival featuring live entertainment on two different stages, carnival games, food and drink vendors and fireworks. A children’s parade and a patriotic tribute are also prime attractions. Other activities include Stars of Freedom Fest Talent Contest and a Mr. and Miss Freedom Fest competition. More details on how to enter those competitions will be released at a later date.

The Bartlesville Freedom Fest will be held from 6-9:45 p.m. on Friday, July 4, in downtown Bartlesville on Second Street between Keeler and Dewey Avenues. The fireworks will begin at 9:45 p.m. Over 3,000 people attended this exciting festival last year.

Volunteers are needed to help with the planning, setup, stage events, activities and games and more. All volunteers will receive a Freedom Fest T-shirt. Teams with 40 or more man hours will be given a free party at Sooner Junior, a miniature golf course in Sooner Park run by the Bartlesville Downtown Kiwanis Club. To volunteer, fill out the participation packet at www.bartlesvillefreedomfest.org or contact Sharon Hurst at 918-336-0572 or email her at info@BartlesvilleFreedomFest.org.

Nonprofits can also have informational booths at the event. To register your booth, visit www.bartlesvillefreedomfest.org and fill out the participation packet.

Vendors are also being sought. If you are interested in selling food or drink concessions or selling non-food items, fill out the participation packet available on the website. For concessions, the cost is $60 for a for-profit and $30 for a non-profit. For selling non-food items, the cost is $50 for a for-profit and $10 for a non-profit.
