Flower Shoppe holds open house in new location

The Flower Shoppe held its grand opening Saturday at its new location, 536 Leahy Avenue. Customers were treated to a beautiful selection of floral giveaways as well as a chance to win a custom-floral arrangement by designer-owner Caitlin Moore.

“We are so excited to be in our new location,” said Moore. “As part of our celebration, we had 50 percent off select merchandise Friday and Saturday and great deals on cash-and-carry arrangements,” she said. “On Monday, I surprised Debbie Coon at the County Treasurer’s with the floral arrangement, valued at $100.”

The back portion of the building houses Handy’s Remote Kitchen where Moore’s Aunt Beverly can whip some delectable cupcakes, donuts, and special order cakes.

“The Flower Shoppe and Handy’s Grocery will be two outlets for Aunt Beverly’s donuts and cupcakes,” said Moore.

The Flower Shopper is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and on the first Saturday of each month for special discounts. Customers may also call the Flower Shoppe 24/7 at 918-287-4000.
