TULSA – All Green Country men are invited to answer the call at the ManUpOK conference on March 7. This powerful event that will inspire and equip men to “Man Up” and take the steps to improve relationships with spouses and children.

The event features nationally recognized author and syndicated radio host Dr. Tony Evans, Duck Dynasty’s Alan Robertson, and Major Ed Pulido, founder of Warriors for Freedom Foundation and vice president of the Owasso’s Folds of Honor Foundation. Praise and worship music will be led by local recording artists Chris Cleveland and Tony Mason.

“Unless we address the man problem in our country, we will not survive,” says Evans in his book, “Kingdom Man.” “No government program or initiative will work to save our culture and our nation if men will not rise up to become kingdom men first in their own lives, in their homes, in their churches and in their communities. No amount of money will fix the problems that we are facing as a nation. And definitely no amount of legislation will fix what is ultimately a spiritual problem of men being out of alignment with the Lord God.”

Evans will speak to his bestselling book, “Kingdom Man,” which leads men to meaningful and successful life as a man, husband and father. A former chaplain for the Dallas Cowboys, Evans has authored more than 60 books and ministered for more than 36 years.

Robertson, a former fulltime pastor at the Duck Dynasty family’s local church, joined the A&E show full time in 2013. Robertson sees “Duck Dynasty” as a chance to reach out to those who would never have heard the Gospel or come to church on their own. In addition to sharing his experiences a as a pastor, Robertson will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the Duck Dynasty family and how the men of the family have put God first as their family motto goes; Faith, Family, and Ducks.”

Major Ed Pulido, an Oklahoman and Army veteran who lost his leg in combat in the Iraq war, will share his personal journey through courage and sacrifice. He is an advocate for veterans and the families of fallen and wounded war heroes through the Folds of Honor Foundation and the Warriors for Freedom Foundation.

Man Up OK will be held on Friday, March 7 at Venue68, located at 6910 S. 101st E. Ave. Tickets range from $25 for general event seating to $40 for preferred seating.
