A Grinch-driven sleigh entered by the Tolson Agency captured first prize in the float competition for commercial entries at the Pawhuska Festival of Lights Christmas Parade. Accompanying Mr. Grinch (Mel Tolson) on his cold, Dec. 7 ride through downtown was Mary Carter, a 30-year plus employee of the local business.

Sister’s Attic owner Randi Chesbro pedaled her way to a third-place finish in the Pawhuska Christmas Parade’s business division. Historic Whiting Bed and Bath was the judges’ choice for second.

The Blue and Gold float entered by Pawhuska 4-H tied for first place in the non-profit division of the City of Pawhuska Christmas Parade, which was held Saturday night, Dec. 7. It shared the top prize with the Pawhuska High School band.

Pawhuska Round-Up Club’s rolling dance hall took the second prize in the non-profit division during the “Christmas in the Osage” parade held downtown on the frigid evening of Dec. 7.
