Long — Davidson

John and Debbie Long of Pawhuska, Okla. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Lynn Long, to Jered Tyler Davidson, son of James and Kendra Allen of Gracemont, Okla. and Jerry and Kelli Davidson of Norman, Okla.

The couple met over 10 years ago through their involvement with the Oklahoma 4-H program where they were each extremely active on the county, district, and state levels, each serving as State 4-H Officers.

The future bride graduated in December 2010 from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Leadership. Lindsey is currently working on her Masters in Agricultural Leadership at Oklahoma State and is employed with the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service as a 4- H Youth Development Educator in Pottawatomie County.

The future groom graduated in May 2009 from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics. Jered earned his Juris Doctor in May 2012 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in September 2012. Jered is an attorney with The Public Finance Law Group PLLC in Oklahoma City.

A spring 2013 wedding is planned and the couple plans to make their home in the Oklahoma City metro area.
