Pawnee Bill

The local resident who will be portraying Gordon William Lillie in this weekend’s 2014 Pawnee Bill Wild West Show is seen during a recent promotional appearance at the Pawnee Bill All-Star Football Classic. Lillie, who became known to the world as Pawnee Bill, conducted one of the courtry’s longest-running Wild West Shows. The annual recreation of the show will be presented Friday and Saturday night from 7:30-9 p.m. at the historic Pawnee Bill Ranch located a mile west of Pawnee on Highway 64. The Pawnee Bill Parade through downtown Pawnee begins at 4 p.m. Saturday.
