Barnsdall was 20-2 in the regular season, losing only to Pawhuska and Oklahoma Union. They beat Porter Consolidated by a 55-36 score in district play.
The Lady Panthers, under the guidance of Joe Gilbert, finished 15-9, dropping a 44-30 decision to Wellston in regionals. Both the Barnsdall basketball squads won two out of three from Pawhuska High this season.
The Pawhuska Huskies finished 13-11 for 2018-19 under coach Jake Christenson. The Huskies lost 60-55 in a district game versus Mounds to close out the season. Christenson’s group showed flashes of promise but lost their last four decisions. The Huskies were a young team this year and will return plenty of talent next season.
