MOORE — Jessica Roberts capped her sophomore track season with another trip to the top of the winner’s platform.

Roberts won the 300-meter hurdles at the Oklahoma Track Coaches Association Meet of Champions here Tuesday, May 15.

Others locally that competed in the meet, which featured the elite track and field athletes from across the state in all classes, were Kyndall Davis of Fairland and Addison Chenoweth and Jaeli Jorgenson of Welch.

Roberts breezed past the rest of the field while winning the 300 hurdles.

She had a time of 45.73 seconds. The runner-up, Karissa Jones of Dewey had a 47.04.

Roberts also placed fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.07 seconds.

Jorgenson wound up third in the long jump. Her best effort was 16-5.25

Ketchum’s Mattie Flanagan was first at 17-3.

Chenoweth finished fourth in the 400. She posted a 59.01-second run.

Tianna Holmes of Moore was first at 56.56.

Davis placed fifth in the high jump. She, Flanagan and Shaylee Maddox of Thomas-Fay-Custer all went 5-2, but the others had fewer misses.
