Bartlesville High graduate James Teague suffered a tough loss Friday during his 10th relief pitching stint of the season for the Frederick Keys (Advanced A).

But, just barely.

Teague allowed just two hits and one earned run in the setback. It was the first earned score he had given up in May and broke a string of three consecutive scoreless outings in the Carolina League.

The 23-year old is now 1-2 on the season, with two saves, in 14 innings of work. His has fashioned a 7.07 earned run average and racked up 15 strikeouts.

Teague has allowed a total of just two earned runs in his last seven innings and five appearances..

The Keys are part of the Baltimore Orioles organization.
