PRAGUE — Propelled by a 24-point outing by ninth grader Chantae Embry, Prague upended Lincoln County rival Chandler 44-32 Friday night.

Embry knocked down 11 of 17 shots from the floor and collared a game-high 10 rebounds.

Macyn Anderson of Prague, who totaled eight points, hit 3-of-4 free throws and added a 3-point field goal.

Prague led 25-16 at halftime.

Lauren Masquat, Chandler’s top scorer with 12 points, canned two treys, the latter coming at the game’s final buzzer.

Hannah Vandenbrand added 10 points for Chandler.

Chandler went 12 of 19 from the free-throw line. Prague was 6 of 7.

“We didn’t play well, but we still got the win,” Prague coach Benny Burnett said. “Give kudos to Chandler. They came ready to play.”

Prague (11-1) will take on visiting Konawa at 6:30 tonight. The Lady Red Devils will launch Route 66 Tournament play Tuesday night versus Seminole at Prague.


Isaac Bloomer popped in a game-high 22 points, including two treys, to fuel the Red Devils to a 59-47 victory over Chandler.

Zadden Jones added 15 for Prague as it upped its record to 8-4.

Prague was in control after jumping out to a 33-21 intermission advantage.

Prague was 11 of 12 from the charity stripe for 91.6 percent.

The Red Devils will engage McLoud at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the first round of the Route 66 Tournament.
