Marilyn Baccus

Marilyn Baccus passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 85 in Houston, Texas. She was born to William Barton Rozell and Lulu Bell Cantwell on July 9, 1937, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Marilyn graduated from Shidler High School in 1955. She worked for Phillips Petroleum and retired from Graham Rogers Insurance. On May 1, 1959, Marilyn married Dwaine Baccus. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, and traveling, but what she loved most was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Dwaine Baccus. Marilyn is survived by her sons, Jon Baccus and wife Tracy of Houston, TX, and Jeff Baccus of Irving, TX; granddaughters, Kayla Baccus of Dallas, TX, Cameron Baughman and husband Blake of Bartlesville, OK, and Christin Baccus of Houston, TX; and great granddaughter, Savannah Baughman of Bartlesville, OK. The memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Bartlesville on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bartlesville First Baptist Church.
