Sandra Kay Shaw

Longtime Bartlesville resident Sandra Shaw died on February 4th, 2023 at the Journey Home in Bartlesville. Sandy Hampton was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on October 5th, 1943 to Vol Dennis Hampton and Lola Fern (Kester) Hampton. Sandy was married to Robert (Bob) Ray Shaw on March 19th, 1985 in Miami, Oklahoma. Sandy had a long career with Phillips Petroleum Company retiring after 22 years of service working in the Executive Dining Room, Executive Suites, and later in the Executive Barber Shop. Sandy enjoyed working with the company executives including CEOs starting with K.S. "Boots" Adams up until Jim Mulva when she retired from the company. In their spare time Sandy and Bob enjoyed listening to country music, camping, going to flee markets and playing the slots at area casinos. Sandy was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her parents, two sisters, Joan Ella Sheline of Dewey, Betty Radebaugh, and a nephew, Dennis Sheline both of Bartlesville. Survivors include one sister, Lynn Epps of Bartlesville, three nieces, Vicki Royer and Amy Butcher of Bartlesville, and Misti Montgomery of Bentonville, Arkansas and one nephew, Mike Epps of Bartlesville. A service celebrating Sandy's life will be held at Stumpff Funeral Home on March 20th at 1pm.
