Interim City Manager Tonya Bright on Thursday confirmed the Pawhuska City Council will hold a virtual meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, rather than meeting in person.

This step is being taken during the ongoing novel coronavirus crisis, to allow the council to transact business without risking transmission of the COVID-19 illness.

Bright said city government plans to use an app called GoToMeeting. Councilors and other officials will be able to participate in the meeting using the app.

The public may attend the meeting by using electronic devices — smartphones, tablets or computers. Bright said the public may use a link — https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/700685685 — to get into the meeting, or may call in at 1-669-224-3412 to gain access.

The meeting is to begin at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 14.

The Osage County Board of County Commissioners is scheduled to meet in person at 10 a.m. Monday, April 13, at the Ag Building at the county fairgrounds.
