Classes have resumed at Strother Schools in Seminole County after a fire at the elementary school, but an investigation into the overnight break-in and fire is ongoing.
A surveillance video at the school captured an adult male suspect breaking in and setting a fire.
Because of that fire, the district will be unable to hold classes in the elementary school or use the cafeteria, according to a letter by Superintendent Kolby Johnson. For now, the letter shows elementary classes have been combined and relocated to other areas of the campus and meals are being served in the gym.
Anyone with information about the fire is asked to contact the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.
