Incumbent Ward 2 councilman Steve Holcombe and challenger Jourdan Foran will meet again in a runoff April 2 for a three-year term on the Pawhuska City Council, unofficial results from the Osage County Election Board show Tuesday.

Following Tuesday's election with both precincts reporting, Holcombe led a three-candidate field with 144 votes, or 38.1 percent. Foran ran second with 137, or 36.24 percent of the vote. Laban Miles came in third with 97 votes, or 25.66 percent.

Since neither Holcombe or Foran met the required 50 percent threshold, both will head to the runoff election.

More information is planned for the Feb. 20 edition of the Pawhuska Journal-Capital.
