Pawhuska’s indoor and outdoor swimming pools should be open by the time school is out for the summer, Interim City Manager Larry Eulert said Tuesday, April 3.
Eulert commented after the Pawhuska City Council unanimously approved repairs to the city’s indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
Eulert said the city account for pool maintenance had some $21,000 in it, which is $3,000 short of what will be needed for the repairs. He explained to council members that the city will lend $3,000 to the pool-maintenance account. That money will be repaid over time to the city.
In other financial matters discussed Tuesday, Eulert gave the council a brief update on preparations for the next municipal budget. Eulert said he is “probably half-done” with the next budget.
“I have everything I need. It’s just getting it into the system,” he said. Eulert said he intends to give the draft budget to council members in May, so they can approve it in June.
