William (Bill) Walter Robinson passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on September 17, 2016. He was born on October 11, 1935 in Miami, Oklahoma to the late Asa Bert and Kathryn J Robinson. He married Shirley Jean Stubblefield on August 7, 1955. They have two daughters, Sally Hulse and Carrie Manning. Bill and Shirley lived in Miami and Tulsa, but made Pawhuska their home in 1971 where they owned and operated Robinson’s Shoe Store for many years. Bill loved football and bird hunting, but his biggest joy in life was Shirley, his wife of 61 years, his daughters and their husbands, his grand children and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Shirley of the home, daughter Sally Hulse and husband Steve, daughter Carrie Manning and husband John, granddaughter Robin Slack and husband Dave, granddaughter Ambra Powers and husband Will, grandson Jake Sell and wife Kalyn, grandson Blake Sell. Step grandsons, John T Manning and wife Samantha and Mark Manning and wife Michelle. Great grandchildren, Mallie and Kennedy Starr, Tinley and Tatum Sell and step great grandchildren Hope and Grace Powers and Colt and Blaine Manning along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jack Robinson and cousin Faye Shook.

Bill was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
Services will be held Friday September 23rd at 10:00a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Pawhuska.
