ASHER — Asher’s bats were red-hot Monday in romps over Vanoss (24-7) and McAlester (20-1).

Both games were run-rule decisions.

Asher posted 24 hits versus Vanoss. led by Sarah Fleming with two home runs, a double, a single and three runs batted in.

Jordan Odell, Ashley Odell and Shelby Dixson had three hits with Jordan Odell and Dixson doubling. Braxten Frazier, who homered, joined Rayanna McDonald, Bailey Larman, Gracy Hadley and Victoria Frankovich with two hits.

The Lady Indians added 19 more hits against McAlester. Frazier and Fleming went 3-for-3 with a home run, double and three runs batted in. McDonald was a 3-for-3 with a double, while Jordan Odell tripled and singled. Ashley Odell, Larman and Frankovich recorded two hits.

Asher, ranked 12th in Class A and possessor of a 14-12 record, will be home today versus Allen at 4:30.
