ASHER — Playing in just its second game in the last two weeks —largely because of rainy weather — Asher dropped a 13-0 decision to Roff Tuesday.

Roff outhit Asher 9-2. Asher also committed three errors.

Starting pitcher Braden Sanders of Asher went just 1/3 of an inning, surrendering nine runs on two hits and five walks. Jake Dobbs, who was used for one inning, gave up four runs on six hits.

Michael McDonald, who finished up the game, didn’t allow a run in 2 2/3 innings. McDonald fanned one and walked one.

Brock Williamson recorded both Asher hits.

Asher, 9-7, will take on Coleman at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in first-round play of the Roff Tournament. Should Asher prevail, it would oppose Dale at 7 p.m.
