MEEKER — An 11-run third inning propelled Meeker to an 11-1 triumph over visiting Okemah Tuesday.

The game was stopped on the run rule after just 3 ½ innings.

The victorious Bulldogs, 5-2, combined seven hits with three walks, four hit batsman and four Okemah errors.

Johnny Jones and Jacob Sellers fashioned two singles apiece for the victors.

Sellers had three runs batted in. Budgie Cameron, Jones and Dakota Gabbert scored two runs apiece.

Jones knocked in two runs.

Winning pitcher Kade Brewster, in four innings of work, allowed one earned run, three hits, fanned two and walked two. He threw 64 pitches, 34 of which were strikes.

Meeker will compete in the Prague Tournament Thursday through Saturday.
