OSSAA, Griffin sign TV deal
Griffin Communications and the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association have reached an agreement for Griffin stations in both Oklahoma City and Tulsa to air and stream the Oklahoma Class 6A-I, 6A-II football championship games and the Class 6A and Class 5A girls and boys basketball championship games during the 2017-2018 season.

The airing and streaming of last year's football and basketball championship games resulted in record ratings with thousands of people watching across the state and nation.
“The demand we saw to watch the championship games on TV and on our live streams was quite impressive,” said Houston Hunt, Vice President of Marketing for Griffin Communications. “The high-quality production was excellent and we look forward to the opportunity to again bring these local games to the state and nation.”
Griffin Communications to air preseason games
Griffin Communications will air the Dallas Cowboys pre-season games between Aug. 12 and Aug. 31 live on KOTV and KQCW. Additionally, KQCW will air the Los Angeles Chargers vs. Los Angeles Rams preseason game at 7 p.m. Aug. 26.
The schedule is as follows:
• Aug. 12 Dallas Cowboys at Los Angeles Rams airing at 8 p.m. on KOTV
• Aug. 19 Indianapolis Colts at Dallas Cowboys airing at 6 p.m. on KOTV
• Aug. 26 Oakland Raiders at Dallas Cowboys airing at 7 p.m. on KOTV
• 26 Los Angeles Chargers at Los Angeles Rams airing at 7 p.m. on KQCW
• Dallas Cowboys at Houston Texans airing at 7 p.m. on KQCW
