Mark David McVey, 57, died March 30.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 4, at the Western Event Center, located at 609 West 116th (HWY 33) in Perkins.

Mark was born June 20, 1956, to Lew Herbert McVey and Lois Ann Whiles. He spent most of his life working in the oilfield. He married Viola Joan McVey on Feb. 10, 1978. He had one son, Jeffrey Clawson and one daughter, Magen McVey. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and taking them fishing and mushroom hunting.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, both grandparents, Henry and Ruby Whiles and wife Viola Joan McVey.

He is survived by his daughter, Magen Marie McVey; grandsons, Kyle McVey and Logan McVey; granddaughter, Zoey McVey; son, Jeffrey Louis Clawson and wife Halona Clawson; grandsons, Cade Cox, Noah Clawson and Liam Clawson; sisters, Lou Ann Cox, Rhonda Wilson, Sandra Dodds and Clara Spencer; brother, Clay McVey, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a loving husband, father, brother and will be deeply missed.
