Dale Wayne Johnson, 52, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 in the Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital, Houston, Texas.

Dale was born July 7, 1961 in Lincoln, Kan., the son of Darold E. and Sue V. (Hollowell) Johnson. He was the owner/operator of Silent Stone Energy, and a pumper for Performance Operating. An avid outdoorsman, Dale enjoyed hunting, especially coon hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed watching basketball, specifically his teams, the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma Sooners, and listening to Christian music. Most of all, Dale loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, attending their activities adamantly.

Surviving are his children Dale Johnson Jr. and wife, Kourtnee, Sondra Rogers and husband, Joey, and Jeraka Ireland and husband, Jeff; his parents, Darold and Sue Johnson; his brother, Chris Johnson; seven grandchildren, three nephews, and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Assembly of God Church of Pawhuska with the Rev. Frank Mundy officiating. Interment was in the Nelagoney Cemetery with McCartney’s Johnson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
