I would like to invite everyone to join us at the capitol on Monday, March 31, to just voice our ideas to our legislators. We can make a difference if we let them know what we want. They are there to represent us and if we don’t tell them our ideas, they won’t know how to vote for us! I encourage you to email, call, or visit and talk to our representatives. They always say they welcome our input!

Spring Break is here and that means that school is 3/4 over for this school year. Time is flying by! Students should be bringing home report cards by Wednesday, March 26. Be looking for them. If you need a spare copy, please call the office.

The Junior High girls’ slow pitch softball team is working through their schedule. They won their first game against Copan. We have a great team that started with several of the girls on a t-ball team at least six years ago. Our first home slow pitch game will be Tuesday, March 25, at 5 p.m. It will be with Shidler. The next game is on Friday, March 28, at Prue at 4:30 p.m. Schedules are available in the office. Steven Holt and his wife Jennesee, have led that team to much success. We applaud them for their efforts in coaching these girls and for the volunteer hours that they have put in for the team and for doing the remodel to our ball field. Thank you! We also thank the people who made the generous donations to help make it happen!

Monday, March 31, is a snow day. This is also the day that parents, teachers, and students are invited to rally at the capitol to show support for funding education. This would be a great opportunity for children to see how our legislature works! The kindergarten round up for students who will be in the 5 year old program next year, is on Monday, March 24, from 9 - 10 a.m. Parents are asked to come to share information about their children.

We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful spring break. Come back ready to study and complete the year with lots of effort and enthusiasm!
