Do you know someone who needs a little encouragement in reading? Pawhuska Literacy Council is having a tutoring for all areas of interests, including Pre-GED, Math, Basic Reading and Writing, Reading for fun, and Reading for Work. Tutoring will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays at the safe room at Cedar Ridge. No cost for service and everyone is welcome.

The public is invited to attend a come and go style open house to learn more about the Flanagan South Pipeline Project on Thursday. The meeting is informal and you may come and go any time from 5:30 – 7 p.m. to view maps and display, attain information, meet with project personal and provide feedback. They will meet at the Pawhuska Business and Education Center, 1225 Virginia St.

American Legion Post 227 & Barnsdall Chamber of Commerce fundraiser raffle will be held Saturday, May 25. A bright red 2000 Ford Mustang Convertible is being raffled. The Historic Constantine presents Live Hankerin’ 4 Hank as Hank Williams Sr. with the drifting cowboy’s band at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 1. Pawhuska Elks Lodge #2542 is having Elks Day from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday, June 1. The event promises something for everyone with "Another Man’s Treasure" sale. Baked goods, silent auction, plus breakfast and lunch will be served. This is an Elk’s Benefit Fundraiser. Tables are only $10 each. You can either donate goods or rent your own table.
