Three days of rodeo and a parade will be featured in a Labor Day Celebration which runs Friday through Monday at Cedar Vale, Kan.

Performances begin at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday for the Cedar Vale Labor Day Rodeo at the Rollin Bohannon Memorial Rodeo Arena.

Sedan-based Chautauqua Hills Cowboy Church will host a Sunday morning service at the arena prior to the noon start of a junior ranch rodeo event.

Tim Nelson, who has served the cowboy church for the past 13 years, will bring Sunday’s message at 9:30 a.m. Pastor Nelson is a former horse trainer at Mullendore. Rusty Rierson will provide special music for the service.

Cowboy Church is held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the Chautauqua County Farm Bureau Meeting Room in Sedan, beginning at 7 p.m. For more information, contact 620-647-3376 or 620-647-3591.
