A hearing will take place during the Grove School Board meeting concerning the employment of a support employee.
The meeting is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9 at the Grove Administration Building located on 210 S. Broadway in Grove.
The Grove School District school board meeting agenda identifies Kim Moore as the support employee.
During the hearing there will be an opening statement on behalf of Moore and the administration, a presentation of evidence that allows cross-examination, questions by board members and rebuttal, closing statements followed by a board vote.
In other employment issues, the board vote on hiring two special education teachers on temporary contracts, one position is spending special education certification, two paraprofessionals, a mechanic, three bus drivers and two bus aides and approve the substitute leacher list for the current school year.
The board will also review student drop out report and college report and will vote to approve a high school baseball trip to Orlando, Fla. during spring break.
