Funeral services for Margaret Jerldene Talley, 74, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2018 at the CrystalRock Cathedral with Dr. Walt Spradling officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Grove Cemetery.
The daughter of the late William Mattison Talley and Myrtle Bea (Jones) Talley, Jerldene was born on Apr. 24, 1944, in Lone Grove, and went to be with her Lord and family on Oct. 2, 2018.
A resident of the Ardmore area all of her life, Jerldene graduated from Healdton High School. She and her sister Wilma began attending the CrystalRock Cathedral since 1980 and became members in 1983.
Jerldene retired from the Ardmore Adventist Hospital after 15 and half years where she had served as a cook, assistant food service director and certified dietitian assistant. She had also worked at Memorial Hospital of Southern Oklahoma as a cook for eight and a half years. Jerldene was a member of the Dietary Manager’s Association for 15 years. She loved to cook, write and collect poetry. Jerldene’s best friend was her sister, Wilma, whom she loved to call and talk with until her passing, Dec. 16, 2003.
Jerldene is survived by her brother, Leaman Lonnie Talley and wife Anita; several cousins; Arlene Stepp, Mintha Morelock, Melba Harvey,  and Joe Denney.
In addition to her parents and sister, Wilma, an uncle, Joseph Samuel Talley and aunt, Nana Hodges preceded her in death.
Honorary pallbearers include Keith Holbrook and her CrystalRock Cathedral Church family.
