SEMINOLE — The Chieftains of Seminole rolled to a 53-0 halftime lead en route to a 67-14 trampling of non-district opponent Wewoka Friday night.

Seminole, 3-0 in non-district play, accumulated 446 total yards of offense, including 294 via the rush on 33 attempts.

Cameron Gunville was the game’s leading rusher with 152 yards on 15 carries. The junior standout posted TD runs of 22, 9 and 5 yards to go along with a 16-yard scoring reception.

Junior Saybion Battles was on the receiving end of 66 and 36-yard touchdown passes from Cade Hammond. Chico Baker scored two second-half touchdowns on a 14-yard pass from Hammond and an 85-yard kickoff return.

Kieran Marshall tallied Seminole’s final TD on a 57-yard run.

Senior Seminole running back Jamon Dennis, who didn’t play Friday because of a knee injury, will undergo an MRI Tuesday.

Seminole will launch district competition Friday at Roland.
