Runoff elections of intense local interest will be on the ballot next Tuesday in Osage County.

In the Oklahoma House District 36 runoff for the Republican nomination, incumbent representative Sean Roberts, of Hominy, will face challenger Louise Red Corn, a former newspaper publisher. Red Corn and Roberts were among five candidates in the first-round primary. Since there are no Democratic Party candidates for the seat, the vote on Tuesday will actually decide who will hold the Dist. 36 seat for the next four years.

In the Oklahoma Senate District 10 runoff for the Republican nomination, Bill Coleman of Ponca City will face Amber Roberts of Hominy, the wife of Rep. Sean Roberts. There are no Democratic Party candidates for this seat, so the winner next Tuesday will hold the District 10 Senate seat for the next four years.

Eddie Fields, of Wynona, is concluding his final term as the Dist. 10 state senator.
