The remains of a man's body, found along Scenic Highway 412 in southern Delaware County has been identified as Kelvin Dean Boyle, 35.

West Siloam Springs Police Chief Larry Barnett released the name of the Missouri man on Friday, Aug. 3.

Boyle's body was found early on Thursday, Aug. 2, along scenic Highway 412 in the city limits of the Arkansas border community.

“The body had been run over several times and was pretty much destroyed,” Barnett said.

No identification was found at the scene and body was transferred to, and later identified at the the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office in Tulsa. 

“Boyle’s death is under investigation,” Barnett said.

About the incident

The police department in the southern Delaware County town received a call around 5:30 a.m. about the body that was located at 690 Road, just off Highway 412 Barnett said.

Authorities were reviewing area surveillance camera footage to help with the investigation, Barnett said.
