Community Crisis Center will use the grant toward the remodeling their shelter.

MIAMI – The Lowe’s Charitable and Educational Foundation has awarded a $48,841.39 Lowe’s Community Partners grant to Community Crisis Center for remodeling their shelter. Community Crisis Center will use the grant to purchases appliances, remodel the kitchen and bathroom, lay new flooring, paint and do many other much-needed cosmetic updates.

“We are so blessed to have received this grant,” said Kelsey Samuels, Assistant Director. “Lowe’s really stepped up to the plate to support the work our organization is doing in our community. We see over 250 individuals in shelter and the improvement this grant will make in their experience is invaluable. 

Grove Lowe’s Manager Thom Clark said, “We’re happy to be here and serve. Lowe’s has always put community very high on our values.”

The Community Crisis Center, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization providing services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking in Ottawa, Delaware and Craig counties.
