The Barnsdall Panthers baseball team went 2-1 in the past three games. They defeated Woodland 14-3 on April 12, lost to Rejoice Christian, 4-3 on April 13, and defeated Glencoe, 7-3 on Monday.

Barnsdall was 16-8 heading into Tuesday's game. The Panthers were playing at Sperry in the regular season finale.

Barnsdall 14, Woodland 3

This game was closer than the final score indicates. It was tied 3-3 going into the top of the eighth, and the Panthers exploded for 11 runs to capture the victory.

The Panthers used four pitchers — Michael Marin, Joseph Cole, Braden Kelley and Wesley Yarber — in the game. They combined to allow three runs, all earned, on seven hits. Marin recorded four strikeouts, while Yarber added three.

Offensively, Marin went 4-of-6 at the plate, including a double. He picked up two RBIs. Kelley and James Cole also had two RBIs.

Rejoice Christian 4, Barnsdall 3

Barnsdall held a 3-1 lead, heading into the bottom of the seventh, but two walks, a triple and a fly out to centerfield allowed Rejoice Christian to rally for the win.

Michael Marin started on the mound, and went the distance. He struck out eight, but walked five.

On offense, James Cole went 2-for-3 at the plate. Michael Marin and Keegan Marin each had doubles in the game.

In the bottom of the seventh, pitcher Michael Marin picked up the first out, but walked the next two batters. Bryce Sanchez tripled to bring the two runners home. Gabe Russell's fly out to center plated Sanchez.

Barnsdall 7, Glencoe 3

Barnsdall scored five in the first, and two in the fourth to down Glencoe on Monday.

James Cole was huge at the plate. He went four-for-four and picked up three RBIs. Michael Marin went 2-for-3. Cole, Joseph Cole and Keegan Marin each had doubles in the game.

The Panthers started Joseph Cole on the mound. He went 3.1 innings, and recorded five strikeouts. Wesley Yarber pitched the next 3.1 innings. He had six strikeouts. Braden Kelley got the final out of the game.
