Luretta Elizabeth Williams passed away on January, 3rd 2018 at her home in Miami, Okla. Luretta was born in Miami December 25, 1944 to John and Ada Marie (Venis) Armagost where she lived all her life. She was a Homemaker and enjoyed being active with the HCE Jolly Workers as their president, the Ottawa County Geneolgiy Society, the Historical Society, and was a member of the Narcissa Baptist Church. She was married to Anthony Williams on August 5th 1961.
She is preceded in death by her parents John and Ada Marie Armagost, son Tracey Williams, and a grandson Tony Williams Luretta is survived by her Husband Anthony Williams; a daughter, Angela Speer and her husband David of Afton; their children, Jason Speer and his wife Reina; great grandchildren, Josh Wyatt, Jacie Speer, Raily Speer, Cassie Davis and her husband Coty; Tracey’s daughter LeeAnn Williams and her fiancé Brett Darnell; great grandchildren, Abbany Witten, Hadlee Darnell, Logan Darnell, a Son Steven Williams and his wife Jan of Afton; their children, Rachele Williams and Ryan Williams; a sister, Mary King and her husband Eugene of Afton; her nieces and nephews, Rexanna Douthit and her husband James, Diana Culver and her husband Gary, Crystal Drake, Jeana Lewis and her husband Jody, Joyce Montgomery and her husband Darren, Terry Williams and his wife Lois, Jebb Williams and his wife Robin, David Williams and his wife Kim. Visitation will be 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Afton.
There will be a Celebration of Life 2 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Afton with Reverend Marion Neighbors and Reverend Brian Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Afton under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Afton.
