Osage County authorities say they are looking for information into a recent burglary that reportedly saw several guns and police/fire radios taken.

Sheriff’s Office investigator Dale Hunter said the burglary took place Wednesday at a residence west of Hudson Lake.

“It happened Wednesday, sometime between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m.” Hunter said. “The victims were a man and his wife, both of whom are medics and firemen.”

He said among the items taken were things used by the Osage Hills Fire Department.

“There were some medic and fire badges and fire department radios that have local fire and police frequencies in them,” he said. “The rest was a lot of guns, electronics such as a television, and XBox, and jewelry. … The usual things that get taken in a burglary.

He said both short and long guns were taken from the residence.

“We’re asking anyone with any information into the identity of the suspects or the location of the stolen items to call us or Crime Stoppers,” he said.

Hunter may be reached at the Osage County Sheriff’s Office at (918) 287-3131 or Crime Stoppers at (918) 336-CLUE (2583).

“We are pursuing a couple of leads and suspicions,” he said. “We’d really like to get these guys.”
