Bartlesville High School’s varsity basketball teams displayed plenty of potential during Tuesday’s season-opening action at Bishop Kelley.

As long as the three-point shots are falling, the Lady Bruins will be deadly for probably anyone they play.

But, they don’t just depend on luck — coach Krista Binam has designed multiple plays, including pass-and-throw-backs to get her girls open from downtown.

In addition, the Lady Bruins penetrated and dished well.

The Bruins will need to find a way to get more boards, but their pressure defense and aggressive offense should give them the better of most their opponents.

The season has begun.
