TRASH NEWS

The rule for the trash pickup in Wynona is that the trash has to be bagged. This is not a new rule, it has been in effect all along. People are starting to just put loose trash in the polycarts and the trash truck crew will not pick it up. Polycarts should also be secured so that animals cannot tip them over causing trash to blow everywhere. Thanks for helping out with this!

WYNONA BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEET

The Wynona Board of Trustees met on Sept. 19. The Board conducted regular business and then discussed going out for bids on repainting the water tower. The Board voted to advertise for bids and have a special meeting on Thursday, Sept. 28 for opening and awarding the bids. Once again, the dog at-large problem was addressed. The Board was informed about several people that were allowing their dogs to run loose at night and aggravating dogs that were penned or chained. Citations will be issued to those owners as they are caught. Attending the meeting were; Donna Swanner, Tonya Holt, Nancy Deatherage, Della Carter, Loretta Little, Johnnie Lott, Janet Delaney and Tennie Slone.
