Preserving Arts in the Osage will bring the Oklahoma Sculpture Society Statewide Show to Pawhuska beginning this week.
“Sculpture in the Osage” will run from July 14 to Aug. 26 at Ole No. 1 Firehouse Art Center in historic downtown Pawhuska. The juried exhibition will highlight the work of members of the Oklahoma Sculpture Society. Hours for the show and sale will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday each week.
The Oklahoma Sculpture Society is a statewide organization working to improve their skills and highlight the work of Oklahoma Artists. Their annual show is an opportunity for the public to view and purchase these exceptional works of art.
An opening artists reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. Saturday. The public is invited to attend and meet the artists and view the show.
Preserving Arts in the Osage is a non-profit focused on bringing the arts alive in Osage County, arts education and organizational collaborations that encourage the growth of the community.
