The Osage County Interlocal Coop will conduct Kindergarten Round-Up at Pawhuska Indian Camp on Tuesday, March 25, from 9 - 10 a.m. and noon - 2 p.m. and at Wynona on Monday, March 24 from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m.
This is a developmental screening for children preparing to enter Pawhuska and Wynona Kindergartens in August 2014. Children must be five years of age before Sept. 1, 2014, in order to be eligible for the screening.
The Battelle Developmental Inventory Screening will be administered. Additional screenings may include vision, hearing and speech. Screening results will be mailed to parents following the conclusion of the screening.
Parents/guardians should attend the screening so they may participate in the interview portion of the screening. Parents should bring shot records, birth certificates, and CDIB cards/tribal membership documentation for children not previously enrolled in school.
• Wynona — Monday, March 24 - 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
• Pawhuska — Tuesday, March 25 - 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., and Noon to 2 p.m.
Pawhuska parents will need to observe the following schedule according to last name in order to reduce waiting time. (Please allow 1 hour for the screening.)
A – F, 9 a.m. – 9 a.m.
G – M, 9 a.m. - 10 a.m.
N-S, Noon - 1 p.m.
T-Z, 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Note: The Pawhuska screening will be closed from 10:45 a.m. to noon due to the lunch schedule in the gym.
