Pawhuska’s Senior Center is overflowing with beautiful Memorial Day arrangements.

There is something for everyone with prices ranging from as little as $1 up to $50.

According to volunteer Debbie Shepherd, the annual Memorial Day flowers are the Center’s major fund raiser for the year.

"I have been working nonstop for the past two weeks getting ready for our Memorial Day sale — breaking only to feed and water my farm animals. Joan Core has been working on Memorial baskets," said Shepherd.

"The Center has saddles available which allow arrangements to be placed on a headstone," she added.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 1-6 p.m. on Sunday. Pawhuska’s Senior Center is located behind the Police Department.

A sampling of this year’s sprays may be seen at the Osage County Historical Society Museum gift shop.
