Hopestone hosts Kids Movie Night, Paint & Pour

Kids are invited to make a cardboard car and enjoy a screening of “Despicable Me 3” from 6-8:30 p.m. Friday at Hopestone Cancer Support Center, 206 SE Frank Phillips Blvd. Pizza, drinks, popcorn and concession snacks will be provided. Cost is $25/child.

On Saturday, it’s the adults’ turn for a fun evening at Paint & Pour from 6-8 p.m. Cost is $45 and includes supplies, snacks and drinks. Patients, caregivers and survivors welcome at no cost.

Entertainment, Charity Classic breakfast at Elks Lodge

The Bartlesville Elks Lodge will host entertainment by Lenny Carr at 8 p.m. Friday. Shuffleboard practice all evening.

From 8-10:30 a.m Saturday is the Charity Classic Pancake All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast. A shuffleboard tournament starts at 7:30 p.m. with $5 entry fee.

Upcoming events include Friday Trivia on Jan. 19 with teams of six.

Cade exhibit open at library

Artist David Cade’s “Catch a Falling Star” is on display in the one-man “Art Transforming 2018” exhibit, which is now open at the Bartlesville Public Library, 600 S. Johnstone Ave. More than 20 of Cade’s abstract (mixed media and oil) works, as well as impressionist landscapes, are on display. The exhibit is free to the public.

Library hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 1:30-5:30 p.m. Sundays.

Movie night, karaoke slated at Heritage Theatre

Heritage Theatre will also host a family movie night featuring a screening of “Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom” at 7 p.m. Friday.

Saturday at 7 p.m. is karaoke night.

The theater is located at 306 E. Don Tyler Ave. in Dewey. Food and drink available at both events.

Painted Horse to host karaoke

Painted Horse Bar and Grille in downtown Bartlesville will host karaoke at 8 p.m. Saturday. Trivia is every Tuesday at 8 p.m.

Upcoming events include Ayngel & John on Jan. 20, and Mike Colaw on Jan 27. Performances at 8:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Osage Casino presents live music

The NINE18Bar at Osage Casino-Bartlesville will present free, live music at 9 p.m. Friday with Usual Suspects. Karaoke is from 7-10 p.m. every Thursday.

Other upcoming performers include Travis Kidd Band on Jan. 19, and Opium Western on Jan. 26.
